July 23, Moraine Lake and Moraine Lake Lodge

In many ways, the scenery around Moraine Lake Lodge, ca. 8.1 miles from Lake Louise, is considered superior.  We walked around the lake once again, had lunch there at the Lodge, whose cabins were designed by the same gentleman who designed the Vancouver Museum of Anthropology (Arthur Erickson),  Moraine Lake is half the size of Lake Louise and is the most vivid turquoise imaginable, caused by fine particles of silt.  Again, photographs galore!
