July 21, en route to Banff National Park
Today our drive took us further north and specifically into Alberta, Canada. Banff is 80 miles west of Calgary, 250 miles SW of Edmonton, and 500 mikes NE of Vancouver. It was Canada's first national park and the world's third, and is one of the world's premier destination spots. It took almost the full day to get there, and we drove through another national park, Kootenai, en route. We camped at the Village I Campground in Banff and took a nice long walk to stretch our legs before turning in after an arduous but stunning day of driving.
